Solution Architect - Remote AI Start Up

Serve as technical architecture expert for a single value stream (e.g., Portfolio), helping to ensure successful product deliveries.

• Manage the evolution of architectural roadmaps for your domain.
• Understand product requirements and vision, evaluate high‑level technical feasibility, blockers or risks, and lead solution discussion.
• Work on overall solution engaging with architecture colleagues on UI, API, service level, logic workflow, integration strategy, and technical blueprint.
• Communicate and present solution to business partners and leadership, aligning engineering team on the technical blueprint.
• Lead Proof‑Of‑Concepts and Spike Solutions; provide reference architectures and baseline implementations when appropriate.
• Evaluate new technologies, vendors, and conduct hands‑on POCs.
• Provide guidance on architectural best practices, guidelines, and standards, evangelate, mentor, and coach.
• Provide guidance to developers and stakeholders on server application design, APIs, micro‑services.
• Ensure all non‑functional requirements (performance, availability, fail‑over, scalability, security, etc.) are articulated and assured.
• Participate in high‑level estimation.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers and drive continuous improvements.

• 7+ years of experience with services, APIs, caching, web identity management.
• 5+ years of hands‑on consumer‑facing enterprise‑level application experience.
• 3+ years of experience architecting solutions for Cloud (GCP, Azure, or AWS).
• Experience with modern languages, frameworks, and technologies.
• Experience designing and developing complex systems/user interfaces with a disciplined approach.
• Experience with requirements analysis, estimation, system/application design, and testing.
• Experience with distributed computing architectures, race conditions, parallelism, and concurrency control.
• Experience driving a build‑vs‑buy evaluation to completion.
• Experience with ES6/ES7/ES8, UI middleware.
• Experience with packaging, bundling technologies, and library management tools.
• Experience with Circle
  
  CI, CI/CD pipelines, GIT, and Dev Ops principles.
• Experience with responsive, adaptive UI design and development.
• Experience with SAFe practices or ability to work in SAFe and agile methodologies.
• Experience with security‑oriented projects.
• Experience with modern API patterns and building well‑designed APIs.

Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience).
