Position Title: PT Faculty, MA Education Programs

Department: School of Education

Reports To: Dean

• Work with the Program Director and current faculty to plan, teach, assess, and update course content to remain relevant in their field.
• Teach courses in multiple modalities: in-person, hybrid, and online (both synchronous and asynchronous) in the late afternoon/evenings and on weekends.
• Engage in comprehensive faculty duties, meeting all obligations, and deliver instruction to diverse learners, both in-person and remote, through the expanding online platforms.

• MA in Education or related field required;
  Doctoral degree in education or related field preferred.
• Successful higher education teaching experience preferred.
• Significant successful instructional experience in teaching subject area content, research skills, and research writing (APA) required; experience serving as an advisor for MA thesis preferred.
• Familiarity with CTC standards/credential requirements and state and federal laws and legislation in special and/or general TK-12 education.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse colleagues, students, and faculty.
• Compatibility with the mission and vision of the University and School of Education philosophy.
