OverviewResponsible for planning, directing, or coordinating repair and maintenance operations for McLean s Belmont facilities, off-site buildings, leased space, and surrounding grounds.

Qualifications Essential Functions- Monitor facilities to ensure they remain safe, secure, and well-maintained.
- Oversee repair, maintenance, and in-house renovation projects to ensure that facilities meet all environmental, health, and security standards, Joint Commission standards, and relevant government regulations.
- Facilitate the maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and MEP/FP systems throughout McLean s campuses by coordinating vendor activities with the Belmont Facilities Supervisor and the front-line staff.
- Manage vendor service and equipment contracts. Retain primary oversight of snow removal and landscape operations.
- Prepare and review operational reports and schedules to ensure proper resources are allocated, delivering timely corrective and preventative maintenance services.
- Address escalated work-orders.
- Manage efforts in leased facilities.
- Dispose of, or oversee the disposal of, surplus property.
- Ensures resources are available to provide quick on-call response.
- Personally responds to Facilities emergencies after-hours on a rotating basis.

Licenses and Credentials- Valid Personal Drivers License and clean driving record required to complete the requirements of this position.
- Journeyman Electrician [State License] - Generic - preferred
- Master Plumber [State License] - Generic - preferred
- Progressive experience in management of facilities operation, 5-7 years required.
- Experience working in a hospital setting: 2-3 years preferred.
- Experience working in older / historic buildings: 2-3 years preferred.
Skills And Abilities
- Knowledge and background in all aspects of Plant Operations (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm, work order and building automation systems).
- Demonstrates initiative with ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines and adapt to changing situations.
- Proficiency of Microsoft office applications required, including Excel. Must be able to learn new software.
- Leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams with varied experiences and viewpoints.
- Self-directed, works independently, and contributes to team efforts.
- Anticipates challenges, then develops and implements strategies to address them.
