About This Role
The Registered Nurse in the Older Adult Unit is responsible for providing immediate and long-term nursing care to patients aged 50 and older, focusing on those struggling with mental health issues such as depression and anxiety.

Part-Time, Rotating - Pay: $34.77 - $72.45 hourly
- Accurately assess patients’ needs.
- Utilize multiple data sources to determine health problems and functional status.
- Perform point of care testing.
- Communicate findings effectively to the healthcare team.
- Document responses to interventions and treatment.
- Identify and de-escalate crisis situations.
- Plan and modify nursing interventions for assigned patients.
- Establish therapeutic alliances with patients.
- Administer medications safely and accurately.
- Participate in leading patient groups.
Education: Nursing diploma required, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
Experience: No experience required; 1 year of medical/psychiatric experience preferred.
Licenses &
Certifications:
Current RN License in Massachusetts required.
