Staff Nurse, Resource Team

The Staff Nurse in the Resource Team at Mass General Brigham is responsible for providing immediate and long-term nursing care to patients, utilizing the nursing process and adhering to departmental and regulatory standards. • Location: Belmont, MA
• Facility: The McLean Hospital Corporation
• Schedule: Full-Time, Rotating
• Pay: $33.78 - $69.33/Hourly

• Accurately assess patients’ needs using multiple data sources.
• Perform point of care testing and communicate findings to the healthcare team.
• Document patient responses to interventions and treatment.
• Identify and de-escalate crisis situations using verbal and non-verbal techniques.
• Modify and individualize Nursing Plan of Care and protocols.
• Participate in the development of multidisciplinary treatment plans.
• Establish therapeutic alliances with patients and families.
• Administer medications safely and accurately using BMV scanning.
• Lead patient groups and promote recovery-oriented goals.
• Provide health teaching related to patient needs and document in patient records.

• Education: Other Certificate/Diploma in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• Experience: 1 year of medical/psychiatric experience preferred
