Registered Nurse -Dissociative​/Trauma Unit

The Registered Nurse in the Dissociative/Trauma Unit is responsible for providing immediate and long-term nursing care to patients, utilizing the nursing process and adhering to departmental standards. This role is ideal for nurses who are skilled in crisis intervention and patient assessment.

• Location: Belmont, MA
• Facility: The McLean Hospital Corporation
• Schedule: Part-Time, Rotating
• Pay: $34.77 - $72.45/Hourly

• Accurately assess patients’ needs.
• Utilize multiple data sources to determine health problems and functional status.
• Utilize Recovery Oriented Framework to identify patient strengths.
• Perform point of care testing.
• Communicate findings effectively to the healthcare team.
• Document patient responses to interventions.
• Identify patient behaviors contributing to crises and de-escalate situations.
• Plan and modify nursing interventions for assigned patients.
• Participate in the development of the multidisciplinary treatment plan.
• Establish therapeutic alliances with assigned patients.

• Education: Other Certificate/Diploma in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• Experience: No experience required; 1 year of medical/psychiatric experience preferred
