About This Role

The Registered Nurse at the Klarman Eating Disorder Center is responsible for providing immediate and long-term nursing care to patients, utilizing the nursing process and adhering to departmental and regulatory standards. This role is ideal for nurses who are passionate about supporting individuals with eating disorders in a therapeutic environment.

• Pay: $34.77 - $72.45/Hourly
• Location: Belmont, MA
• Facility: Klarman Eating Disorder Center
• Department/Unit: The McLean Hospital Corporation
• Schedule: Per Diem, Rotating

• Accurately assess patients’ needs.
• Utilize multiple data sources to determine health problems and functional status.
• Utilize Recovery Oriented Framework to identify patient strengths.
• Perform point of care testing.
• Communicate findings effectively to the healthcare team.
• Document patient responses to interventions.
• Identify and de-escalate crisis situations.
• Plan and modify nursing interventions for assigned patients.
• Participate in the development of the multidisciplinary treatment plan.
• Establish a therapeutic alliance with assigned patients.

• Education: Other Certificate/Diploma in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• Experience: No experience required; one year of medical/psychiatric experience preferred
