Registered Nurse -General Adult Unit

About This Role

The Registered Nurse in the General Adult Unit at Mass General Brigham is responsible for providing immediate and long-term nursing care needs of patients, utilizing the nursing process and adhering to departmental standards.

• Pay: $32.78 - $68.33/Hourly
• Location: Belmont, MA
• Facility: The McLean Hospital Corporation
• Department/Unit: General Adult Unit
• Schedule: Part-Time, Night shift

• Accurately assess patients’ needs.
• Utilize multiple data sources to determine health problems and functional status.
• Perform point of care testing.
• Communicate findings effectively to the healthcare team.
• Document patient responses to interventions.
• Identify and de-escalate crisis situations.
• Plan and modify nursing interventions for assigned patients.
• Participate in the development of the multidisciplinary treatment plan.
• Establish therapeutic alliances with assigned patients.
• Provide health teaching related to patient needs and recovery goals.

Education:

• Other Certificate/Diploma in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred

Experience:

• No experience required; one year medical/psychiatric experience preferred

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current RN License in Massachusetts required
• MR safety certification preferred
