Job Summary

16 hour Weekend Days

Availability to work 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.

Requirements
  • Ability to respond quickly and effectively to emergency and non-emergency calls.
  • Strong report‑writing and documentation skills.
  • Excellent customer service and community policing approach.
  • Experience handling emotionally charged situations and de‑escalating conflicts.
  • Ability to investigate suspicious activity, security incidents, and safety concerns.
  • Ability to protect patients, visitors, staff, and hospital property.
  • Experience working in healthcare, security, law enforcement, military, or public safety environments is beneficial.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid Massachusetts driver's license
  • Ability to obtain and maintain:
    • CPR/AED/First Aid certification
    • CPI De‑Escalation Training certification
    • IAHSS Basic Officer Certification (within first 90 days)
  • Fluent English reading, writing, and speaking skills
  • Basic computer and report‑writing skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or a related field
  • 1–3 years of security, law enforcement, military, healthcare security, or related experience
  • Fluency in a second language
