Job SummaryResponsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of utility systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, in a behavioral healthcare facility.

Essential Functions- Install, repair, and maintain electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems in the facility.
- Perform routine maintenance on utility systems to ensure efficient and reliable operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair utility systems and equipment as needed.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors as needed for repairs and upgrades to utility systems.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed on utility systems.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and safety standards.
- Monitor utility systems performance and identify areas for improvement or upgrades.
- Respond to on-call pages after-hours. On-call is handled via rotation among the team. Expect to be on call roughly 3 or 4 weeks of the year, for a one-week duration each time.
- Other duties as required.
High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
ExperienceExperience in the maintenance and repair of utility systems, preferably in a facility setting. 3-5 years required.
Knowledge,Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems and equipment.
- Familiarity with applicable regulatory requirements and safety standards.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Ability to operate and maintain various hand and power tools.
Valid US driver's license required. Hoisting license preferred.
