Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform all tasks related to irrigation from startup to winterization and the maintenance in between
• Must be able to take direction, support, and communicate with others in a positive and patient manner
• Ensure proper procedures, processes and quality of work are followed and achieved
• Understand and meet production and project schedule deadlines without sacrificing quality of work
• Safely use a wide variety of tools and equipment
• Maintain and care for company equipment, tools and vehicles
• Maintain a clean and orderly job site including the office, yard, and company vehicles
• Follow all job site and vehicle safety procedures
• Attend training classes and seminars as requested by Branch Management

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Experience in irrigation is required for this position
• Experience with soil moisture and ET based systems
• Self-motivated, positive attitude and able to problem solve
• Well-rounded background in irrigation repair and installation
• Professional in appearance and actions
• Ability to communicate with and provide excellent customer service to our clients
• Detail oriented and quality driven
• Must be well organized with an ability to multi-task
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Must have reliable transportation to and from our shop in Belmont, MA and must be willing to work extended hours and weekends

Education and Experience/ Licenses:

• 2+ years of irrigation experience required
• Experience in safe use of various types of power equipment required
• Valid MA Driver’s License with clean driving record required
• DOT medical card a plus
• Landscape/Irrigation industry certifications are a huge plus

Pay Range: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour depending upon experience
