Program Coordinator

The program coordinator promotes and markets UNC World View's professional development programs. The program coordinator serves as writer, media professional, event planner, and understands the value of global education. The position is responsible for information management, assembly of mailings, educator inquiries, correspondence, mailing materials, data compilation, and tech backup. The program coordinator processes evaluations and provides credit for programs. The program coordinator performs duties that are essential to the success of the programs, including researching and writing news articles, and writing reports.

The program coordinator creates social media content for different platforms and stays connected to our partners. The program coordinator also supports the director, associate directors, and assistant director in duties related to meeting logistics, payments, orientation materials, and general office needs.

Minimum

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree and one year of experience related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Management Preferences:
Commitment to the mission of UNC World View. Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with Wordpress, Adobe Creative Suite with knowledge of InDesign, or mass marketing software.
