Senior Financial Analyst, COGS

• Looking for a leader to oversee financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes for Subscription COGS and IT functions, ensuring accuracy and alignment with corporate objectives.
• Partner with operational leaders to provide insights into cost drivers, trends, and opportunities for efficiency and savings.
• Develop financial models, and scenario analyses to support investment decisions and cost optimization initiatives.
• Monitor and report on monthly performance against budget, delivering variance analysis and actionable recommendations.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and reporting to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Lead, develop, and mentor a small team of offshore resources to ensure high-quality deliverables and career growth.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior finance leadership and business stakeholders in a clear, compelling manner.
• Continuously design, develop, and automate the unit COGS model.
• Extract required data from internal systems, lead analytics projects, and monitor key trends in relevant metrics.
• Work independently and in conjunction with our FP&A, Accounting, Revenue Subcription COGS, and IT teams.
• Fulfill ad-hoc analytical requests as needed.

• Looking for someone with public and private cloud COGS experience.
• Basically looking for someone who is great at analyzing data, modeling, communicating the numbers and influencing business partners.
• Background of supporting CTO/Technology org in the past.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and close attention to detail.
• Advanced level user in MS Excel and Google Sheets.
• Experience with Anaplan would be great.
• Lead automation projects, leveraging technologies such as Anaplan, ChatGPT, Tableau, etc.
• Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbally).
• Strong presentation, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to deliver high quality results while working in a fast-paced environment.

• Previous experience supporting COGS with a focus on identifying cost drivers and leading initiatives that improve operational efficiency.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and thrive in a rapidly changing business environment.
• Understanding of SaaS business model and cloud (public and private cloud) operations.
• Project management skills.
