Experienced Estate Planning Attorney

Sodoma Law is a law firm with 7 offices across North Carolina and South Carolina. Over the years, our practice areas have expanded to include trusts and estates, adoption, mediation, immigration, and more; however, our main area of practice continues to be family law.

We are seeking an Estate Planning Attorney for our office in Belmont, North Carolina who can serve clients in estate planning including, but not limited to, trusts, wills, power of attorneys and the like. We are excited about this opportunity to serve new communities and offer an area of practice that helps clients plan for their families.

Our Attorneys are intelligent, driven, detail oriented, tenacious, and proactive business developers who advocate for the best outcome for their clients. They are team players, committed to honesty and integrity, and are active participants in internal initiatives to include the culture of Sodoma Law and development of our employees.

• Providing competent legal advice to clients.
• Meeting with clients, drafting documents and conducting research.
• Managing their own caseload of clients as well as their team.
• Consistent communication with their team and clients.

• Licensed and in good standing with the North Carolina State bar (Licensed in South Carolina is a plus)
• 3+ years’ Experience with estate planning.
• Adequate skill working independently on cases while maintaining a client base.
• Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills specifically in emotional situations.
• Ability to maintain professionalism while showing empathy to all clients.

• Self-motivated
• Problem solvers with the ability to identify solutions.
• Active members of their community (Gaston, Cleveland and Lincoln County involvement is a plus).
