Performance Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Quality Manager to lead quality operations for a respected manufacturer in the industrial and steel‑product sector.

This role is responsible for overseeing the entire Quality Management System, guiding a dedicated team, and driving continuous improvement efforts across the plant. It offers a blend of leadership, strategic influence, and hands‑on involvement in quality processes.

The Quality Manager will manage the implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001 standards, develop and maintain manufacturing routings for current and new products, and collaborate with leadership to strengthen process control and product quality. This role includes directing quality initiatives that support equipment design improvements, production efficiency, and test procedure development. It also requires strong problem‑solving capabilities, using structured tools such as 5 Whys, fishbone diagrams, 8D, and root‑cause analysis to resolve issues and prevent defects.

Daily responsibilities include conducting internal audits, monitoring trends, reducing claims, embedding in‑process inspections, overseeing corrective and preventive actions, and supporting engineering through documentation review, process audits, and statistical process control initiatives.

The Quality Manager will also evaluate returned products, maintain calibration programs, and participate directly in inspection activities when needed. Collaboration with leadership is essential as the company continues to refine and advance its Quality Management System.

• Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy, Material Science, Process Engineering, or a related technical field
• Experience in steel forming, stamping, or related industrial manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 quality standards and quality methodologies
• Proficiency in MS Office and comfort with statistical analysis and SPC
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
