Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Electrical Maintenance
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for a well-established company. The ideal candidate for the Industrial Maintenance Technician will be responsible for keeping production lines and the facility running smoothly. Responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of all industrial production machinery.
Industrial Maintenance Technician Qualifications and Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical (up to 480V 3-phase), hydraulic, pneumatic, and motor control system failures on production machinery.
• Optimize preventative maintenance program to minimize unplanned downtime.
• Perform general facility maintenance, including basic plumbing, lighting, and HVAC troubleshooting. Conduct light welding/fabrication (MIG/TIG) to repair or modify brackets, guards, and fixtures.
• Work with external machine and equipment vendors as necessary.
• Monitor spare parts inventory, identify critical spares, and coordinate with vendors to order replacement parts.
• Ensure all machinery and repairs comply with OSHA safety standards
• 5+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with high functional knowledge of gearboxes, bearings, shafts, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Solid electrical troubleshooting skills with the ability to read schematics, including 3-phase power and PLC control systems.
• Basic welding/metal fabrication experience.
Industrial Maintenance Technician Compensation & Benefits:
• Salary range of $50K - $60K, based on experience
