Aboutthe role
The Global Product Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing new and/or existing pro and postbiotics products. The successful candidate will work closely with the business and R&D stakeholders to evolve and develop new and existing generations for this product line, via Product Line Strategy development and execution. You will ensure flawless end-to-end execution and P&L accountability – including product & process innovation, COGS management.
Keyresponsibilities
- Operational excellence, manufacturing assets & TPMs, and strategy development and execution.
- Product line management for all existing and future postbiotic and LAB probiotic ingredients within the Kerry portfolio, including those acquired via licensing.
- Develop and manage product strategies and guide business planning for future positioning and growth of Health ingredients.
- Ensure product specifications meet customer needs in collaboration with RD&Aand Commercial teams including potency and stability.
- Support the R&D, Commercial (Business Development, Sales) and marketing teams to identify and create opportunities within our current and future portfolio that resonate with brands and consumers
- Develop, support, and participate in training related to the product line in partnership with supply chain team, managing supply and demand plan
- Commercialization of technologies added to the portfolio, including licensed, acquired, and internally innovated
- COGS management for internally and externally manufactured technologies
- Act as a subject matter expert in the field of postbiotics and LAB probiotics
- Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science, Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or Similar.
- 7+ years experience in dietary supplements, probiotics, life sciences classified as General Business Displays a passion for health and wellness technologies used in the food, beverage, and dietary supplements.
- Commercially driven, business minded professional with strong execution skills, and ability to adopt a strategic approach.
- Industry knowledge and credibility, ideally working with global team.
- Availability to travel up to 25% of time regionally and globally.
- Proven experience of successfully working with cross-functional regional or global teams, and working directly with customers.
- Ability to evaluate multiple complex ideas and align others around a recommended course of action; strong communicator to share vision and plans with others
The typical hiring range for this role is $102,400 to 190,200 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
