Beloit USD 273 has an opening for an Agricultural Education Instructor/ Assistant FFA advisor. Beloit Agricultural Education and FFA is a strong two teacher program with a very engaged, aware, and supportive community. The program features newly updated tools, machines, and welding equipment, for both the Ag Mechanics and Welding programs as well as a 20x 40 greenhouse in support of Plant and Soil science and horticulture classes.

Beloit FFA has incredible support from the community and district both valuing the program and supporting it financially. The district is in the early planning stages of designing a new ag facility with classrooms, shop, multipurpose space and kitchen and community donations in support of this project have totaled $130,000. Supplemental positions for coaching and sponsor ships available to qualified candidates.

Salary Information

Minimum starting salary for B.A.

- $43,375 Minimum starting salary for M.A.

- $45,413 (These salaries are based on the current salary schedule.) Credit will be given for years of teaching experience.

The city is located on highways 24, 14 and 9. Beloit is located 15 minutes from Waconda Lake and Glen Elder State Park`s excellent recreational areas.
