Staff Accountant Summary

We are looking for an energetic Staff Accountant to join our team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for performing account reconciliations, calculating and processing journal entries, month end close, balancing accounts as assigned, matching intercompany transfers, helping with audits, and helping improve processes. The team is interactive and supportive.

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Related Field
• Proficient in Excel
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Detail Oriented, Self‑Starter
• Good problem‑solving and time management skills

• Intercompany Transfer Balancing
• Inventory Matching, billing vs receiving
• Process Improvement
• Analyze and reconcile Assigned Accounts
• Prepare and maintain periodic reporting
• Preparation entries for month end
• Other duties as assigned

• Calculate and Enter Assigned Journal Entries
• Help build reporting for new system
• AR and Notes balancing
• P&L review including preliminary reports
• Analyze and reconcile Assigned Accounts
• Reconcile Intercompany Transfers
• Balance Accounts between multiple systems
• Respond to information requests
• Distribute Financial Statements
• Investigate discrepancies
• Maintain Record Retention

• As Assigned
• Past Projects included Customer Rebate work, and Unclaimed Property
• Provide Schedules as Needed for Interim and EOY External Audits
• Provide Schedules as Needed for Bank Audits
