About the role
As the Head of our Commercial Strategic Partnerships, you will support our beverage EUM (End Use Market) in North America to build a market leading reputation in beverage solutions, helping to develop commercial relationships with some of North America's biggest and leading third-party manufacturers. You will also provide leadership for the sales function of the team, proactively leading with insight and showing customers the value of Kerry's capability.
What will you do?
+ Serve as the commercial lead for the beverage solutions sales team.
+ Day-to-day coaching to the commercial functions.
+ Overall leadership and responsibility for the sales KPI's and targets.
+ Develop a clear plan for growth in the beverage solutions channel and identified accounts.
+ Be a hands-on commercial leader, showing through action and outcomes for your own commercial accounts.
+ Continually review the customer journey, identifying how it's supported, taking a consultative approach in helping clientes overcome issues and achieve goals.
+ Lead interaction and workflow between project team functions making it easier and more valuable for our customers to do business with Kerry.
+ Support continued improvement in our NPS score and commercial execution.
+ Stay well-informed of changes in the competitive landscape to enable design of differentiated strategies and positioning customized to our portfolio.
+ Lead with commercial excellence to leverage technical insights and customer/consumer insights to feed into innovation/renovation of our offerings.
+ Lead with R&D team to deliver overall cross functional excellence and consistent ways of working.
What will you need to be successful?
+ Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or Food Marketing or Business/ Business Management.
+ Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial execution, hitting financial targets and beating them.
+ Must have a strong technical background in Beverages from a Taste / Flavour and/or Beverage Solutions environment to be able to understand consumer needs and be the link to R&D.
+ Previous experience of collaborating or working with third-party manufacturers / co-manufacturers of beverages.
+ Strong verbal and written communication, strategic planning, and project management skills.
+ Comfortable working across multiple departments in a deadline-driven environment.
+ Active team leader, self-starter, and multitasker who can quickly adjust priorities.
+ Availability to travel up to 50%.
Compensation Data
The pay range for this position is $129,000 - $239,500 in Annual Salary. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity. In addition, this position is also eligible to earn a performance-based incentive compensation.
