We are now helping one of our client, Kerry Ingredients, an international leader in taste & nutrition innovation, to recruit part time Sensory Panelists.

WHERE: 3400 Millington Rd, Beloit, WI 53511, United States
DAYS: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays, every week
HOURS: 3 hours between either 9:30am-12:30pm (occasionally 4 hours per day)
PAY: Starting at $20.00 per hour, with a $1.00 per hour pay raise after 3 to 6 months upon satisfactory completion of training
Key Responsibilities- Working individually and within a team to evaluate a variety of food and beverage products; ranging from but not limited to yogurt, sodas, meat products, Poultry products, Dairy, Seafood, protein bars, snacks, meals, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, beverages and nutritional gummies
- This position requires excellent verbal communications skills, both for collaborative and independent roles. Participation and communication skills are key to success. You should be comfortable expressing your thoughts in a group of 8-16 people.
- You will be taught how to describe and rate the sensory profile of products (aroma, appearance, taste, flavour, texture)
- No experience necessary as full training is provided
- You must not have any medical, religious or dietary restrictions (e.g. vegetarian), intolerances or medical allergies
- Must not be on any medication that adversely affect visual, taste, and smell acuity
- Not opposed to food additives such as natural & artificial sweeteners
- Good sensory acuity relating to smell, taste and texture (we assess this at your interview)
- You should have the ability to follow detailed instructions and work well in a team
- Have the ability to articulate yourself and use technology (e.g. iPad)
- Kerry center is a corporate office, where customers may be present. We ask that you dress in business casual unless otherwise noted.
- A real passion about food in general is a plus!
