Role OverviewAs an Apps Intercom Customer Support Specialist, you will manage high-volume email inquiries related to app tickets, reward eligibility, and account issues. This role combines internal administrative review with high-quality written communication to customers. You will ensure policy compliance, investigate missing rewards, and assist members with accurate resolutions—all through email.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to incoming customer emails via Intercom, addressing 140-180 inquiries per day
- Review missing reward claims to determine eligibility
- Investigate ineligible rewards and communicate findings to users
- Edit and customize macro-based responses for accuracy and clarity
- Stay current with platform policies, promotions, and procedures
- Perform internal administrative review of rewards, tickets, and user accounts
- Maintain accurate documentation of all customer interactions
- Support quality assurance by reviewing email transcripts and support interactions
- Work closely with customer support, product, and technical teams to ensure seamless resolution
- Provide clear, actionable customer feedback to internal teams
- Assist with updating FAQs, support flows, and knowledgebase articles
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of customer service experience (email or chat preferred)
- Strong proficiency with computers, email programs, and online navigation
- Experience in banking, teller work, or data entry is a plus

Training is structured but flexible; candidates must be comfortable in a startup environment. Office-based role with opportunities to influence early operational processes.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beloit, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
