Heartland Dental is looking for a Sub-Regional Hygiene Mentor in the Rockford, IL Areas supporting Wooley's Sub-Region. • Coach and grow hygienists while partnering with Operations to identify priority hygiene initiatives and incentives
• With the Regional Mentor of Operations collaboration, you will build a strong regional culture among hygienists.
• Prioritize focuses and oversee hygiene initiatives and incentives.
• Ensure each newly hired hygienist receives a world-class onboarding experience.
• Collaborate with other RHMOs and hygiene leadership team which provides a network of ongoing support through individual and group meetings, conducted either in person or virtually.
• As a Sub-Regional Hygiene Mentor, you will the liaison between the hygienists in your region and the operational business partners, ensuring the region maintains a high focus on managing patient periodontal health according to doctors’ Treatment Plan for Predictability guidelines while growing the business of hygiene in the region.

• Current Heartland Dental supported hygienist
• Valid dental hygienist license
• Excellent working knowledge of overall dentistry and dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person once conditions allow) periodically throughout the year.
• CPR Certification
• Clinical needs as required by office.
• Mastery level proficiency in clinical skills to include Velscope or Vizilite Pro, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ oral health.

• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
