Job Description & How to Apply Below
The courses will be inquiry-based, have integrated laboratory and field components, enroll biology majors and other students, and be limited to 24 students. This position is an excellent opportunity to teach in a department that is nationally known for innovative pedagogy. The visiting faculty member will receive individualized mentoring from members of the biology faculty, as well as opportunities to pursue professional development as both a teacher and scholar. Over the last 25 years, multiple visiting faculty members in the biology department have secured tenure-track positions at colleges and universities.
Beloit College is dedicated to fostering a supportive environment for all members of our residential learning community. We believe that a variety of perspectives and backgrounds enrich our students' liberal arts education and contribute to the overall vitality of our institution. We seek applicants who are committed to contributing to our efforts to celebrate cultural and intellectual richness. We encourage applications from individuals of various backgrounds, including women, people of color, people with disabilities, and members of other historically underrepresented communities.
