ANDRITZ Inc. is looking for a Project Engineer to join our Beloit engineering team. In this role, you'll work on custom-engineered industrial equipment used by leading paper manufacturers across North America and globally. You'll be involved throughout the entire project lifecycle, from design and engineering to manufacturing support, customer interactions, troubleshooting, installation, and continuous product improvement.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys a combination of office-based design work, customer engagement, and occasional travel to see projects come to life in the field.
What You'll Do- Design custom mechanical equipment and machinery using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD
- Create layouts, production drawings, bills of material, and engineering documentation
- Support projects from concept through manufacturing, installation, and commissioning
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Procurement, Sales, Project Management, and Field Service teams
- Work directly with customers to support installations, troubleshoot issues, and identify solutions
- Participate in product development, value engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Travel to customer sites throughout North America and internationally to support project execution
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
, Mechanical Engineering Technology
, or a related discipline - Experience using Autodesk Inventor and/or AutoCAD
- Strong mechanical design and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and priorities
- Willingness to travel 25–50% domestically and internationally
- Manufacturing or project engineering experience
- Hands-on approach to troubleshooting and problem solving
- Desire to work across the full project lifecycle rather than a narrow engineering specialty
