Beloit Health Systems is hiring for a Student Radiology Technologist for our Cardiac Catheterization Lab.

Location: Beloit Memorial Hospital - Beloit, WI
Shift: 1st, varied
Schedule: Varied-Per Diem
Hours per week: Varied
- Per Diem
Benefits Status: Not Eligible
Department: Cath Lab

Duties
  • Move and transport patients.
  • Procedure chart preparation: pulling of old chart to act as a resource, printing patient , referencing past studies in Synapse cardiovascular for that patient and preparing billing slips.
  • Greet patients in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Help/assist in pulling supplies, pre-procedure room preparation, patient preparation, procedure flow and post-procedure care of the patient.
  • Practice aseptic techniques as necessary.
  • Select contrast based on patient lab work.
  • Assist in cleaning of the labs and room.
  • Answer phone and take messages.
  • Initiate basic life support if necessary.
  • Stock supplies/linens/contrast in procedure rooms.
Job Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited Radiology program.
  • CPR certification within 3 months of hire.
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Basic computer skills; experience with EMR helpful.
  • Must adhere to established hospital and Cardiovascular Services department policies, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintain ethical conduct and keep confidential personal and medical information about patients.

Reporting Relationship:
Reports to Director and Manager of Cardiovascular Services.
