Beloit Health Systems is hiring a Radiology Technologist for our Cardiac Catheterization Lab.

The Radiology Technologist in the Cath Lab is responsible for all aspects of radiology related to cardiac catheterizations, peripheral angiograms, cardiac implant devices, electrophysiology procedures, and any other procedures performed in the Cardiac Cath Lab or Hybrid Lab. In this position the Radiology Technologist will:
- Prepare and execute cardiac catheterizations, interventional IR and EP procedures, and all other exams performed in the department with or without the use of ionizing radiation.
- Greet patients in a friendly but professional manner and ensure delivery of professional services.
- Meet the physical and emotional needs of the patient.
- Maintain neat and accurate records.
- Scrub, pan the procedural table, and monitor/document cardiovascular cases.
- Assist in the ambulatory patient care area performing duties as assigned by RNs and/or clinical manager or director.
- Assist in quality control and assurance checks.
- Maintain adequate supplies needed for procedures and assist with inventory.
- Participate in patient and staff education, including radiation safety education.
- Directly assist the physician within scope of job description.
- Accurately fill out charges for equipment and procedures performed within the department.
- Troubleshoot all imaging and department related equipment.
- Graduate of accredited school of radiologic technology.
- Must have active WI license and current ARRT.
- Current BLS certification; ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
- High degree of self‑motivation and commitment.
- Ensure continued professional growth—must complete 12 hours of continuing education per year.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
- Maintain knowledge and expertise in other areas of radiology procedures to assist staffing needs if necessary.
- Possess the training, knowledge and skills necessary to perform one or more of the following activities for patients in one or more of the following age groups: neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric.
- Involves physical effort including full range of body motion with standing and walking for extensive periods, assisting with lifting patients up to 25 pounds, pushing transport carts ranging in weight of 50–200 pounds.
- Involves work with radiant/thermal energy.
- Requires manual and finger dexterity and eye‑hand coordination.
- Requires seeing and hearing at a level sufficient to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Works in sometimes stressful conditions or irregular hours.
- Exposed to communicable diseases or bodily fluids.
- Reporting Relationship: clinical manager and/or department director.
