We are looking for an Echocardiogram Technologist (Echo Tech) for an immediate travel opening in Beloit, WI. The right Echo Tech must have 1 year of experience. Read below for additional requirements.

• Educate patients and/or patient's family regarding procedures performed
• Demonstrate competence in performance of echo cardiographic studies
• Consistently perform quality Doppler and color Doppler Exams
• Acquire quality Stress Echo and Dobutamine images according to Physician and benchmark standards
• Perform quality Trans esophageal echocardiograms according to physician expectations
• Demonstrate an understanding of cardiac disease processes and acquired images
• Report findings or concerns to reading physician for prompt interpretation
• Perform all related processing required for each completed study
• Maintain equipment including cleaning and disinfecting according to department procedure and identifying problems with equipment and reporting appropriately
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

• Must have 1 year of experience. Must have BLS, ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RS National Certification and state‑specific licensing when required.
• Echo Techs should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty.
• Echo Techs must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
• Must have BLS, ARDMS (RDMS RVT), ARDMS (RDMS AE), CCI (RCS), 2 Years
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Total Med Allied Job . Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
