This Per Diem Youth Apprenticeship - Pharmacy Technician is a Per Diem at Beloit Health System located in Beloit, WI. The Youth Apprentice will be involved in day-to-day tasks to support healthcare professionals, gain hands‑on experience, and contribute to the overall patient care experience.

This Youth Apprenticeship - Pharmacy Technician will adhere to strict safety and security procedures, help prepare medications, measure dosages, label prescriptions, and maintain inventory, interact professionally with patients and staff, answer phones, assist with prescription requests, participate in quality assurance practices, help to maintain accurate pharmacy records, clean and restock after procedures, and maintain inventory.

Qualifications
  • Must be a current High School Student, 16 years of age or older
  • All Youth Apprenticeship Pharmacy Technician students must be registered with the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS)
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Interest in pursuing a career in healthcare
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a healthcare environment
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology helpful
