Description

Daiso’s Talent Acquisition Manager is a dynamic role with significant impact on the organization’s growth and culture. This role offers a remarkable opportunity for a talent leader to assist in the creation of and implementation of talent acquisition strategies from their inception. The Talent Acquisition Manager is directly responsible for supporting the entire recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a positive candidate and internal customer experience.

The primary focus is on maintaining robust talent pipelines by engaging both passive and active candidates for corporate roles at our headquarters and over 100 retail store locations across the US.

  • Recruitment Planning: Assist in development and implementation of effective recruitment strategies tailored for high-volume retail settings.
  • Market Analysis: Regularly conducting market research and benchmarking studies to understand current trends in compensation. This ensures that the organization's pay scales remain competitive in the market, aiding in talent attraction and retention.
  • Recruitment Lifecycle Management: Take full ownership of the recruitment lifecycle, from initial sourcing to final placement.
  • High Volume Talent Sourcing: Proactively source candidates through various channels, including social media, job boards, networking events, and employee referrals.
  • Interviewing and Selection: Conduct interviews and assess candidates to ensure a good fit for both the role and the company culture. (HQ Roles)
  • Recruitment Lifecycle Management: Take full ownership of the recruitment lifecycle, from initial sourcing to final placement.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with hiring managers at all levels to understand staffing needs and align recruitment efforts accordingly.

    Experience:

    Ensure a positive candidate experience from initial contact through to onboarding.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Champion diversity and inclusion in the recruitment process.
  • Data-Driven Recruitment: Utilize data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make informed decisions.
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Efficiently manage relationships with staffing vendors across the nation, ensuring alignment with Daiso’s recruitment goals and standards.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and develop the talent acquisition team.

Required Education, Certifications and Work-Related Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in high volume recruitment, with at least 3 years in a managerial role, preferably in the retail sector.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment practices and trends, especially in high-volume settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in using HRIS and recruitment software. UGK Pro preferred
  • Ability to interpret workforce analytics and market trends to inform recruitment strategies.
  • Experience in managing third-party vendors and maintaining productive partnerships.
