Shift - 1st (7:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
Direct Hire & Full-Time
Salary 115k + 10% annual bonus

Job Description: Maintenance Manager (Full-Time)
Position Summary: The Maintenance Manager is a member of the Management Team and provides effective leadership to the company's maintenance department.
The Maintenance Manager is expected to be an initiative-taking, focused, creative, flexible individual with a positive approach. This individual must be able to lead by example and inspire his/her team to excel and go the extra mile to make things happen in order to deliver on commitments.
The Maintenance Manager will be expected to achieve specific, mutually agreed upon group and individual goals while operating in a team environment.
Required Skills/Experience:
- 10+ years' experience in a maintenance management role in manufacturing
- Experience in food, ingredient, chemical, or process manufacturing (highly preferred)
- Exposure to process equipment, utilities, and industrial systems
- Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in food safety is a plus
- Mindfulness and ability to prioritize projects and workload
- Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, controls and mechanical systems
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Experience in planning maintenance operations
- Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making
- Can effectively and efficiently handle both administrative and mechanical responsibilities
- Create and implement measures to minimize breakdowns and repairs (performing quality checks of all machinery, tools, equipment etc.)
- Strong computer skills. Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Excel required
- Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary
- Monitor equipment and systems of facilities to ensure functionality
- Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities, including PM's
- Maintain maintenance logs and report on daily activities
- Ensure that designated buildings, plant, and facilities are fit for purpose and to provide proactive support/solutions when required
- Enforce all health and safety rules and regulations according to state/federal laws and company protocol
- Familiarity in drafting and understanding blueprints and schematics
- Ensure all machinery is up to working standards
- Assess current maintenance work processes, to optimize efficiency
- Manage proactively
- Use data analysis to help prepare for and prevent future problems
- Train new employees in maintenance work processes and procedures
