Business Manager, Parts

Responsibilities

• Responsible for leading, growing, and developing the Performance Parts organization
• Drive strategic service initiatives and standardize operational processes
• Improve performance and expand service offerings
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, subcontractors, and customers
• Participate in strategic planning to define core product offerings and identify priority customer segments
• Support long‑term business planning aligned with Valmet’s overall strategic objectives
• Implement consistent practices, procedures, and business processes across the region
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, safety, and efficiency
• Review and audit contract language for compliance with company policies

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Paper Science, Business, or a related field
• 5–7 years of technical experience such as machine engineering, process management, mill operations, or maintenance management
• More than 10 years of experience leading sales teams, managing strategic plans, and executing targeted business initiatives
• Proven ability to drive business growth and manage operational performance
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to travel throughout North America and participate in global events
