This position requires skills in welding, grinding, fabrication, mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting, inspection, and communication. It is a fast‑paced, rewarding work environment that requires accountability while working together in teams.

Shift & Compensation
  • 1st shift: 10‑hour shift, Monday through Thursday, 5:00am to 3:30pm.
  • 2nd shift: 10‑hour shift, Monday through Thursday, 3:30pm to 2:00am with a  5.00 per hour shift premium on top of the hourly rate.
  • Some Friday overtime may be required.
Job Responsibilities
  • Weld stainless steel for the production of tanks in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions.
  • Identify faults in equipment operation or in material, notifying the supervisor.
  • Clamp, hold, tack‑weld, heat‑bend, bolt, custom fabricate, or grind material as necessary to meet technical specifications.
  • Operate accessory equipment and perform tasks such as fusing metal segments, using gas tungsten arc (GTAW), metal arc (GMAW), plasma arc, spray transfer, pulse, and other welding techniques.
  • Control fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheat, distortion, expansion, or shrinkage of parts.
  • Examine finished products to ensure specifications are met.
  • Prepare and set up necessary tools and equipment for welding jobs, including GTAW and GMAW; read and understand basic prints and drawings.
  • Operate efficiently in a team environment and maintain accountability in a fast‑paced setting.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a TIG Welder/Fabricator.
  • Experience with TIG, MIG welding, and additional processes such as spray transfer, pulse, short‑circuit, etc.
  • Stainless steel welding experience required; aluminum welding a plus.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team‑oriented, self‑motivated, and self‑starter.
  • Capacity to use manual and power tools and work under conditions of extreme heat, humidity, fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, loud noise, and various weather conditions.
  • Capability to climb stairs, ladders, and scaffolding up to 15 feet, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
