Our customer in Beloit, Wisconsin is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Winder Operators to work full-time on 2nd shift. As a Winder Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating winding machines to roll materials onto spools, ensuring consistent tension, quality, and proper winding procedures, while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

• Set up machinery according to job specifications, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to lean strategies.
• Log production data, close open work orders, and transfer orders to finished goods for shipping.
• Read work orders or production schedules to determine materials, cutting lines, dimensions, and tolerances.
• Operate machines to saw, cut, shear, slit, punch, crimp, notch, bend, or straighten metal or plastic materials.
• Inspect completed work pieces for defects and measure them to ensure they meet specifications.
• Safely prepare materials for shipping, ensuring proper identification, tagging, and wrapping.

• Ability to stack finished goods onto pallets.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions effectively.
• Proficiency in written correspondence and communication.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide various units of measurement.
• Ability to problem-solve effectively.

Pay for Winder Operator: $17-$18/hour.
