ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Shipping, receiving, and cycle counting.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure coworkers also comply with company policies and procedures.
- Responsible for ensuring forklift inspections are timely.
- Pick and deliver internal and external orders.
- Warehouse organization.
- Inventory movement and tracking.
- Operation of lift truck.
- Operate software.
- Allocation of product.
- Packaging product.
- Scheduling freight pickups and deliveries.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Ability to use company software and programs, ERP and WMS.
- Inventory tracking.
- General quality systems.
- Lift truck operation.
- Visual inspection.
- Understand, communicate, follow, and instruct oral and written instructions.
1-2 years of experience in material handling in a manufacturing environment with responsibility for freight scheduling of product; or any combination of education, training, and experience which provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply, divide, solve simple equations and calculate percentages. Ability to convert fractions in increments of 1/16 and convert to decimal number.
REASONING ABILITYAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
