Work Shift:
6:00pm – 6:30am (2‑2‑3 rotation).
- Operate equipment to ensure proper sanitation and CIP functions of lines, tanks and production equipment.
- Operate CIP systems, including tanks, lines and equipment, and perform general sanitation of the overall plant.
- Disassemble and assemble equipment as needed; maintain and troubleshoot CIP circuits/systems.
- Perform post‑sanitation inspections of all plant areas, including swab and visual inspections, and enter results into EQMS.
- Lead cleanup efforts, maintain records and documentation, and monitor CIP circuits with documentation of validation.
- Conduct environmental clean‑ups during CIP for improvement opportunities; audit environmental clean-ups.
- Maintain the Food Safety Plans for construction projects and follow reaction plans for Food Safety, Food Quality, and customer requirement deviations.
- Promote open, honest communication between partners; provide partner training on effective sanitation practices.
- Maintain and troubleshoot sanitation MSS programs, sanitize and foaming stations, and monitor PPE and PEM outages throughout the plant.
- Collect and record accurate production data, identifying customer requirements and ensuring proper production operation.
- Support line performance goals in collaboration with Production, Processing, QA, and Maintenance partners.
- Perform other sanitation tasks and be ready to cover additional shifts for large clean‑up events as needed.
- High school degree preferred; 1+ year related experience preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively; follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to work overtime and lift up to 50lb.
- Proficiency in operating CIP systems, and performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
- Experience in post‑sanitation inspections, swab and visual inspections, and entering data into EQMS.
- Knowledge of SDS, U.S. food safety and GMP guidelines, JHAs, SOPs, and sanitation documentation.
- Ability to use process excellence tools for continuous improvement of line results.
- Must pass the required Wonderlic test.
