CNC Machinist
Seeking a CNC Operator/Programmer for a growing precision machining manufacturer in Beloit, WI.
The ideal candidate will have extensive CNC machining experience with a strong background in programming and turning operations. This individual will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC equipment while ensuring parts meet blueprint specifications, quality standards, and production requirements. Experience with horizontal and vertical turning centers is required, and live tooling experience is preferred.

- Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM
- Occasional Saturday overtime as needed
- $24-35/hour based on experience
This position is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC turning equipment to produce precision-machined components that meet customer specifications and quality standards. The CNC Operator/Programmer will create and modify programs, perform machine setups, monitor production, conduct in-process inspections, and support efficient workflow while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Responsibilities:- Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes and turning centers
- Develop and modify CNC programs using GibbsCAM or equivalent CAD/CAM software
- Program offline using CAD/CAM systems to support production requirements
- Manage multiple tooling jobs and machine setups simultaneously
- Machine parts according to blueprints, specifications, and quality requirements
- Interpret engineering drawings and apply GD&T principles during machining operations
- Perform in-process inspections to ensure dimensional accuracy and product quality
- Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and programming issues to minimize downtime
- Maintain tooling, equipment, and organized work areas
- Operate equipment utilizing Fanuc controls and work with machines such as Samsung, Doosan, and HNK
- Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and production efficiency goals
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- Minimum of 5 years of CNC machining experience required
- Strong CNC programming experience required;
GibbsCAM experience preferred - Experience with horizontal and vertical turning centers required
- Lathe live tooling experience preferred
- Strong understanding and application of GD&T
- Experience programming offline using CAD/CAM software
- Familiarity with Samsung Fanuc controls, Doosan, and HNK equipment preferred
- Strong blueprint reading and machining skills
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug screening
