We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our fast‑paced Medical/Surgical Unit. In this role you will provide primary nursing care to adults recovering from a variety of medical and surgical conditions. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes, administer medications, monitor patient condition, and document care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).

• Provide direct patient care for adults with diverse medical and surgical needs.
• Administer intermittent and continuous IV medications and monitor for reactions or changes in patient status.
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient condition, assess changes, and take appropriate interventions.
• Accurately document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes in the EMR.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and post‑discharge care.
• Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Support unit operations, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to a positive work environment.

• Education:
  
  Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required;
  Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Licensure &
  
  Certifications:
  
  Current RN license in the state of practice (or compact‑eligible); BLS Certification required within 3 months of hire; ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required within 1 year of hire.
• Experience:
  
  Previous medical/surgical or telemetry experience is helpful but not required; new graduates are welcome to apply.

• Competitive hourly pay: $33.40 – $53.44 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Shift Differentials:

• 2nd Shift: 15% of base pay (up to $5.00/hr)
• 3rd Shift: 25% of base pay (up to $10.00/hr)
