Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner​/Physician Assistant- Beloit, WI

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Examine patients, perform comprehensive physical examinations, and compile patient medical data including health history and examination results.
• Administer or order diagnostic tests such as X‑ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests, and interpret test results for deviations from normal.
• Perform therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunization, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Provide care for simple fractures, sprains, and strains to stabilize and restore musculoskeletal function.
• Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and assist in providing continuity of care.
• Instruct and counsel patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, family planning, emotional problems of daily living, and health maintenance.

• Graduate of an accredited master's of nursing program or physician assistant program.
• Meet the requirements determined by the State of Wisconsin to perform duties defined as those of a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.

• Hold a valid APRN or PA license in the state of Wisconsin.
• Hold approved CPR or BLS certification within 90 days.
