We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to support our growing Cardiology Clinic
. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced outpatient setting, providing clinical expertise, patient education, and coordinated care to individuals managing acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.

This Registered Nurse Clinic in Cardiology is responsible for providing high-quality clinical care, patient education, and care coordination for patients receiving cardiology services. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and committed to improving patient outcomes through education, assessment, and ongoing support.

The Registered Nurse Clinic in Cardiology:
  • Perform patient assessments, triage, and clinical evaluations.
  • Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and diagnostic testing.
  • Review and respond to patient calls, messages, and clinical concerns.
  • Educate patients and families regarding cardiac conditions, medications, lifestyle modifications, and treatment plans.
  • Coordinate diagnostic testing, referrals, and follow-up appointments.
  • Monitor test results and communicate findings under provider direction.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR) documentation.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
  • Strictly adheres to infection control procedures including body substance isolation and blood borne pathogen precautions
  • Ensures patient safety while handling, transporting, and providing medications to patients
  • Protect patients from various hazards, falls, diseases exposures, etc.
  • Participates in quality assurance activities initiates and maintains accurate electronic and/or paper medical records
  • May draw blood and perform simple laboratory procedures and EKGs
  • Assists with completing patient paperwork including FMLA, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, etc.
Job Requirements:
  • Graduate of accredited school of nursing
  • ADN, Diploma, BSN, or MSN degree acceptable.
  • State of Wisconsin nursing licensure, compact license or temporary permit required. (If a compact license, application for a State of Wisconsin nursing license must be initiated in no more than 30 days from start date).
  • Must be CPR certified within 3 months of hire.
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred; cardiology or outpatient specialty experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
