Position Title:

Skilled-Quality Technician

Wage: $22.00 - $26.00/hr

Shift: 1st

Hours:

Mon-Thurs 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Location:

Beloit, WI

Skilled-Quality Technician Responsibilities:
  • Perform final inspections on finished products using blueprints, visual inspections, and measurement tools.
  • Inspect reworked products and verify compliance with quality standards.
  • Conduct mechanical, physical, and visual inspections of raw materials, components, and subassemblies.
  • Document inspection results and report findings.
  • Initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when required.
  • Perform quality checks and testing on finished products.
  • Identify and reject defective materials or products and document defects accordingly.
  • Review parts lists to verify complete assembly.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and specifications.
  • Support quality system processes as directed by the Quality Director.
  • Assist with attaching parts to final products as needed.
  • Test assembled electrical components.
  • Wear a respirator when required.
  • Work at heights and utilize fall protection equipment when necessary.
Requirements for Skilled-Quality Technician:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1-2 years of inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with pressure vessels or cargo tanks is a plus.
  • Experience using inspection and measuring tools, including:
    Tape measures, Micrometers, Calipers
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection instructions.
  • Strong math skills, including fractions, decimals, ratios, percentages, and measurements.
  • Excellent computer skills.
