Quality Assurance Technician

We are seeking Quality Assurance Technicians to support quality and food safety operations at a manufacturing facility in Beloit, WI. This is a great opportunity for candidates with experience in QA/QC, food manufacturing, laboratory testing, food safety, inspections, or production quality.

The Quality Assurance Technician will perform quality testing and inspections on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods while ensuring products meet established quality and food safety standards. Strong performers may have an opportunity for contract extension or conversion to a permanent position. Pay range: $20/hr- $22/hr.

Shift Schedule

2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:45 PM–11:00 PM

  • Saturdays currently required
  • Sundays off

3rd Shift: Monday–Friday, 10:45 PM–7:00 AM

  • Saturdays currently required
  • Sundays off

Mandatory overtime may be required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform QA testing and inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods
  • Conduct testing for moisture, pH, weight, color, size, ingredient content, package fill, seal integrity, and overall product quality
  • Accurately document testing results and communicate out-of-compliance findings
  • Perform or assist with equipment validation and calibration
  • Support SQF, Food Safety, and Food Quality programs
  • Perform allergen, sanitation, pre-op, and metal detector verification
  • Assist with product holds, rework, and disposition when quality standards are not met
  • Follow established food safety, quality, sanitation, and laboratory procedures
Qualifications
  • Experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or food manufacturing
  • Experience with food safety, HACCP, SQF, laboratory testing, inspections, or production quality
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work the assigned shift, including Saturdays and mandatory overtime as needed
