Seasonal Cashier

Overview

Summer Seasonal: June through August (variable hours; approximately 5-15 hours/week)

Responsible for handling admission policies, cash handling procedures, sale of products and program activities, and providing general customer service. Expected to run a smooth, well-organized and efficient operation and handle customer complaints in a courteous manner. Fill out required forms, complete all tasks associated with opening and closing procedures, keep all areas stocked with appropriate inventory/sale items, keep work area clean, assist customers with equipment operation to ensure their satisfaction and safety, make sure equipment is safe and in good working condition, answer phone in a very courteous and professional manner, and complete daily assignments as assigned.

Ability to handle difficult people/situations in a courteous and professional manner.

• Must be 16 years of age upon employment.

• Must be creative, enthusiastic, highly organized, motivated, dependable, patient and able to maintain discipline.
• Must be capable of following directions and have an ability to learn new skills.
• Possess good written and verbal communication skills, the ability to complete daily paperwork and work well with others from different cultures and backgrounds.

$13.50/hour
