This is a highly collaborative role responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying internal AI-enabled software applications and tools that support organizational transformation. This role focuses on architecting, designing, and building scalable, production-ready AI native applications as part of business process re-engineering efforts. The position works closely with Process Excellence teams, End Users, SMEs, IT, and junior developers to rapidly build, validate, and deploy solutions that improve operational efficiency, enable data-driven decision-making, and support scalable growth.

Successful candidates will prioritize collaboration, speed, business value and customer impact, balancing concerns around security, scalability, and extensibility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement AI-enabled applications and tools based on defined requirements - collaborating heavily with Process Excellence, SMEs, End Users, and IT teams.
• Participate in process re-engineering efforts applying systems engineering and lean practices, including kaizen, continuous improvement cycles, risk management, process mapping across domains.
• Translate process and functional requirements into working software solutions with user-friendly interfaces, and scalable structures.
• Plan software structure including data models, APIs, front-end/back-end structures, and AI/LLM integrations.
• Participate in rapid development cycles with other developers in building applications using AI-assisted coding tools.
• Evaluate and implement AI development tools, frameworks, and workflows to improve speed and quality of development. Develop standards for version control, testing and deployment approaches, and documentation practices.
• Test, debug, and validate applications for reliability and performance, supporting validation activities as required.
• Ensure alignment with organizational governance, data strategy, and security expectations.

After 3 months you will:

Participate in process re-engineering efforts, and collaboratively develop AI applications to drive the business forward.

After 6 months you will:

Lead broader software and AI system redesign efforts, coordinating with IT and other SMEs.

Minimum Education/Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and minimum three (3) years of experience. Strong experience building full-stack applications, APIs, and AI-enabled solutions for enterprise business systems.
