Step into a day on our warehouse floor
As a Certified Lift Truck Specialist at Frito Lay, you’ll keep product flowing. Picture yourself starting your shift with a safety check, certifying your forklift, then gliding through multi-tiered racks to position cases precisely where they belong. You’ll scan inventory with handheld devices, confirm locations in our Inventory Control Systems, and stage pallets for trailers so our snacks get where they need to go-fresh and on time.
Along the way, you’ll help keep the facility in top shape by pitching in with housekeeping and sanitation.
- Operate a forklift safely following company training and certification.
- Load and unload pallets from inbound and outbound trailers.
- Place product accurately in multi-level racking and retrieve cases as orders come in using company technology.
- Use handheld scanners and Inventory Control Systems to track and manage inventory movements.
- Support general housekeeping and sanitation (sweeping, trailer cleanouts, trash removal, and related tasks).
Our warehouse runs 24/7. You may work nontraditional hours, and the role is physically active - expect to be on your feet for your entire shift.
Minimum qualifications- 18 years of age or older.
- Available to work weekends, holidays, and off-shifts as needed.
- Able to lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Able to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Comfortable working at heights using ladders or lifts to access plant areas.
- Comfortable working in environments with extreme temperatures, humidity, loud/hazardous equipment, and slippery surfaces.
- One year of experience operating a forklift or similar equipment in a manufacturing/warehouse setting.
- Warehouse experience.
- Forklift licensed.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Forklifts.
