Job Summary

Acrisure is seeking an Account Manager to join our growing team. The Account Manager is the primary day‑to‑day contact for all service needs for both external and internal customers. They are accountable for facilitating team service deliverables and managing accurate, efficient, and effective responses. This role requires subject‑matter expertise in client services and coordination, accurate insurance processing, and customer experience delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Manage overall team operations, client coordination, and customer service delivery. This includes coordinating, coaching, and prioritization assistance with Account Associates, as well as reviewing and managing the overall workload.
  • Leverage knowledge and expertise in client services, insurance processing and customer experience to develop, coach, and assist Account Associates and other team members.
  • Assist Producers and Account Executives with client service commitments.
  • Ensure service standards are met, trends are identified, and process improvements are implemented on the team.
  • Act as the day‑to‑day customer contact, focusing on troubleshooting issues and helping the client make well‑informed decisions that position the client for success.
  • Manage the new business and renewal process, and oversee day‑to‑day client changes.
  • Accountable for client service delivery through high or increased client retention, rounding of accounts, referrals, and uneventful renewals.
  • Ensure pre‑renewal information is sent out within service standard and follow up with clients for timely response on pre‑renewal information, and insurance markets for a timely response of quotes.
  • Manage renewal marketing plan (if any) with Producers and Service Teams and ensure everyone on the team is aware of and executes the plan. Create accurate proposals/deliverables for the Producers and Service Teams to utilize at client renewal meetings.
  • Review quotes for accuracy against supporting documents and negotiate additional coverage/price with the underwriter.
  • Quickly and accurately complete the renewal bind processes and checklist, ensuring all aspects of the renewal are completed and documented within the file.
  • Ensure the file is accurately documented to minimize E&O exposure and to be able to quickly respond to client requests.
Requirements
  • Current Insurance License in Health & Life for the state in which your agency office is located.
  • Ability to work toward a professional designation.
  • Comfortable in an electronic environment with strong computer skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Excellent people skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma (college preferred).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Business or related field OR equivalent relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience within the insurance industry or business‑related experience.

Candidates should be comfortable with an on‑site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross‑functional partnership.
