Hourly: $20.00 - $24.40 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)

Our Personal Bankers are personable, goal‑oriented, and passionate about helping our customers improve their financial health. As a Personal Banker, you’ll gain valuable insight into banking and finance while helping customers with their daily financial challenges. We recognize and reward talent, skills, and contributions. • Deliver an excellent customer experience in person and over the phone to meet customers’ financial needs.
• Actively listen to customers and make appropriate recommendations that match their needs.
• Educate customers on a variety of retail products and digital solutions that improve financial wellness.
• Ensure financial transactions are completed accurately and efficiently, while complying with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Establish relationships with other internal departments and refer customers to bank specialists for complex needs.
• Earn more than your base pay through our quarterly incentive program.

Monday - Friday: 7:45 am – 5:45 pm, with rotating Saturdays: 8:45 am – 12:15 pm.

• Interact with customers both in person and over the phone to ensure their financial needs are met through needs‑based conversations and sales fulfillment.
• Actively listen, understand, and recommend products and services based on customer needs to achieve individual and team sales and service goals.
• Educate customers on a variety of retail products and digital solutions that enhance the customer experience and contribute to sales goals.
• Ensure financial transactions are completed accurately and efficiently, while complying with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify complex financial needs and refer customers to bank specialists when appropriate.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Strong sales skills with the ability to provide an excellent customer experience by connecting easily with customers in person and over the phone.
• Ability to meet personal and branch sales and customer service expectations.
• Motivated and organized self‑starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Adaptable to a variety of situations with an optimistic outlook aligned with our culture and Core Values.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• 1+ year(s) of sales or customer service experience required.
• Experience working in an environment with individual and team sales goals preferred.

Position may be filled as a Personal Banker I or a Personal Banker II, depending on experience and education.

For this position, federal regulations require Commerce Bank to prepare an investigatory consumer report which will disclose credit history. If you express interest in and are considered for this position, you will be asked to authorize that report.

At Commerce, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $20.00 to $24.40 per hour. This position will be eligible for additional compensation through performance‑based incentive plan(s) that will correspond to meeting performance goals.
