Full-time Technology Engineer - Level III. Salary range: $72,102/year - $95,923/year + full benefits, exempt.
The Belton School District is seeking a Technology Engineer working with computer information systems. This position will provide network and server systems support and management for an infrastructure of approximately 6,000 users and devices. The primary duties would focus on supporting the school district network and server infrastructure. Duties would be based on expertise and experience related to the following skills:
The preferred skillset and relate expertise desired:
* Technical project management
* Network LAN management, configuration and support of HP networking equipment
* Firewall and content filter management, configuration and support of a Fortinet security gateway
* Phone system management, configuration and support of a Mitel IP phone system
* Escalated technician support
* Certification in related technical field preferred
* Additional desirable experience:
* Microsoft Server management
* Microsoft Active Directory management
* Virtualization using VMWare
* JAMF Administration
* Apple OS and IOS experience
* G Suite experience
* Large scale device deployment and management
* This position will report directly to the District Technology Director.
