A rapidly growing, private‑equity‑backed home services provider is expanding its leadership team and looking for a new Branch Manager across multiple locations.

This organization delivers residential and commercial services across multiple recurring service verticals—including lawn care, pest control, tree care, lighting, and related offerings. They are $200M+ in revenue, ~2k employees, with 50+ branches across the U.S. and Canada.

The role holds full operational accountability, reports to the Regional Director, and will work closely with the COO.

Position Summary

The Branch Manager leads all branch operations to ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service, achievement of financial and growth targets, and alignment with our clients mission and operating standards. This role oversees field operations, production planning, customer experience, fleet and equipment management, and the development of a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities Leadership & People Development
  • Recruit, train, and coach team members across service lines (Lawn Care, Pest Control, Tree Services, and Holiday Décor).
  • Build a culture of accountability, customer focus, and operational excellence.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and create development plans for technicians and supervisors.
  • Ensure all employees follow policies, safety protocols, and SOPs.
Operational & Production Management
  • Develop, track, and report weekly and monthly production and revenue forecasts to ensure branch performance targets are met.
  • Oversee daily field operations, route optimization, and technician scheduling to maximize efficiency and production.
  • Monitor service quality through ride-alongs, site checks, and customer feedback.
  • Ensure proper care, maintenance, and utilization of branch fleet, equipment, and materials.
  • Maintain OSHA and company safety compliance; lead branch safety meetings and corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with operational leadership on resource planning, seasonal workload shifts, and staffing needs.
  • Own branch P&L performance including revenue growth, margin improvement, and cost control.
  • Monitor production metrics, labor efficiency, material usage, and route profitability.
  • Develop and execute annual budget and monthly financial action plans.
  • Maintain accuracy of inventory, purchasing, and asset management.
  • Partner with sales teams to support new customer acquisition and retention goals.
  • Ensure customer communication and service delivery meet satisfaction standards.
  • Resolve escalated customer issues with urgency and professionalism.
  • Identify local market opportunities for growth and seasonal revenue optimization.
  • Ensure branch adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and brand standards.
  • Maintain licensing (state dept of ag, pesticide certifications, business compliance) as required by state and service line.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying operational bottlenecks and implementing process enhancements.
  • Lead branch execution of corporate initiatives, technology adoption, and reporting requirements.
Qualifications Required
  • Strong operational and people leadership experience
  • Experience leading field-based, route-based, or service businesses
  • P&L and financial accountability
  • Proven ability to drive revenue, productivity, and labor performance
  • Strong customer retention and service orientation
  • Experience hiring, developing, coaching, and holding leaders accountable
  • Comfort managing through KPIs, scorecards, and daily/weekly operating rhythms
  • The ability to build a strong culture while maintaining high-performance expectations
  • A demonstrated history of improving an operation, not simply maintaining one
Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or related field.
  • Knowledge of lawn care, pest control, or arborist operations.
  • Pesticide Operator license or ability to obtain licensure.
  • Experience with CRM, routing, or field service management systems.
