Production Supervisor - 12 hour PM shift

Salary: $80,000 - $96,000 per year

Salary up to $96,000 plus bonus potential and benefits starting day one of employment.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinating cross‑functional teams to maximize safety, quality, delivery and cost initiatives.
  • Meeting daily, weekly and monthly production requirements, metrics and goals.
  • Training, coaching, mentoring and evaluating the hourly workforce.
  • Identifying, initiating and maintaining process improvements, including efficiency improvements, scrap reductions and eliminating equipment downtime.
  • Assisting with technical equipment issues as needed.
  • Reviewing and scheduling material changes in ERP system and making needed adjustments.
  • Maintaining manpower goals by working with staffing services and human resources to attract and recruit talent.
  • Working with planning and shipping, making adjustments when needed.
  • Completing shift reports and communicating with incoming supervisors at shift change.
  • Coordinating with the maintenance team on PM schedules and troubleshooting downtime.
  • Determining root cause analysis and assisting with corrective actions.
  • Communicating with management on the status of projects and production.
  • Other duties as directed by management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required, ideally in a related field.
  • 1‑5 years of manufacturing supervision experience.
  • Experience overseeing production in high‑volume or mass‑production environments.
  • Experience overseeing at least 15 individuals.
  • Experience identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives in assigned manufacturing areas (e.g., scrap reductions, elimination of downtime).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work on the manufacturing floor up to 80% of the time.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to coach and mentor others.
Preferred Skills
  • Lean or Six Sigma certifications.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Experience working in consumer products manufacturing.
  • ERP experience.
  • Process‑oriented manufacturing experience.
  • Experience working in automated environments.
